About Peter Sawka, DMD
Dr. Sawka opened Hopmeadow dental in 1985, promising to positively affect people lives by solving their dental issues and relieving them from dental pain. Because of his expertise, his patients enjoy food more comfortably and navigate social interactions with confidence. With over 30 years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, and more than a decade in dental implantology, Dr. Sawka continues to meet his guarantee of aesthetic and reconstructive success for his patients. After completing his undergraduate degree at Boston University, Dr. Sawka earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from UConn. He has been a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association since 1986, and the American Dental Association since 1987. He has been placing veneers since the first porcelain veneers were used in 1985, while his advances in cosmetic dentistry have changed smiles for decades. His desire to know the latest techniques and newest technology fuels his dedication to continuing education programs and skill building. But Dr. Sawka’s greatest reward is to see the new smile shining on a patient face after making them healthy and looking young again. In his spare time, you can find him out on the golf course or spending time with his kids down by the shore.
