About Daniel S. Karempelis
Dr. D. Scott Karempelis (better known as Dr. K around our office) has been a partner at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta since 1989. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin and completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. K went on to an internship at LaCrosse Luther Hospital/Gunderson Clinic and later a residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital. By the time he officially became a board-certified dermatologist in 1985, Dr. K already had a wealth of experience which has simply continued to grow over the years. Today, Dr. K is one of our true laser experts, and he’s always on the cutting-edge of the latest skin care treatments. He is a member of such esteemed medical organizations as the American Medical Association, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and others.
