About Dan Hostrander, DDS
Dr. Dan’s childhood patient experience with his family dentist and orthodontist was less than ideal. After three different sets of braces (totalling six years of treatment) led to complications and necessary jaw surgery, Dr. Dan wanted to make sure that no patient had the same experience. He was inspired to become a dentist that would change the way people envisioned dental appointments. Dentistry shouldn’t be scary, and Dr. Dan combines skill, compassion, and humor to keep patients comfortable in his care. Dr. Dan graduated with Honors and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UNC School of Dentistry. He is dedicated to providing a superior dental experience for his patients with a focus on relationship-based care. Dr. Dan is an active member of the ADA, the North Carolina Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
