About James T. Henley, DDS
Dr. James T. Henley was raised in Barberton, Ohio and is one of four siblings. He attended Bowling Green State University for his undergraduate degree and went on to graduate from Ohio State University School of Dentistry. Shortly after earning his Doctorate, he spent two years in the United States Navy serving as a dentist in San Diego and Okinawa, Japan with the 3rd Marine Division. His military experience allowed for a rotation through all of the specialties of dentistry and treatment of many different dental conditions. In 1978 Dr. Henley moved to Rohnert Park, where he met and married his wife Karen. They have two children and four grandchildren. The Henley's are very community oriented and believe wholeheartedly in supporting local charities and their community. Dr. Henley is a past-president and a founder of the Rohnert Park Active 20-30 club. He is a past President and Board member of both the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce and the Education Foundation. He served as president of Sonoma County Adult and Youth Development for 26 years, an organization providing human services for the cities of Rohnert Park and Cotati, before retiring in 2009. JT Henley has been unanimously voted in as a member of the Board of Directors for Social Advocates for Youth (SAY), an organization which provides crisis, counseling, and community services to youth and families throughout Sonoma County. With more than 30 years' experience in the dental field, there is little dental therapy that Dr. Henley has not provided. His experience means extraordinary dental care for you, his future patient.
