About Aisha White, MD
Dr. Aisha White is a board certified plastic surgeon who applies her artistry and clinical expertise to provide comprehensive care to her patients. Dr. White attended the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University while she concurrently completed an MBA at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. White completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at SUNY Health Center at Brooklyn, New York. She completed her residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College Surgeons. Dr. White has been published in scientific journals related to reconstructive plastic surgery. Her special interests include breast surgery (including, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and breast reconstruction), , mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. White was drawn to a career in plastic surgery because she saw first-hand how it could not only transform people’s bodies, but also their self-esteem. Dr. White is originally from New Orleans. She is married to a Texas man and loves calling Austin, Texas home. Like many Austinites, she was not born here but, “got here as soon as she could!” Dr. White plays an active role in the Austin community and participates in multiple local nonprofit organizations. She is a member of the Junior League of Austin, serves on the AIDS Services of Austin Board of Directors, and serves on the Leadership Austin Board of Directors. She says of her volunteer work “It keeps me grounded. It also keeps me grateful.
