About Mira Mahajan, MD
Dr. Mira Mahajan is a Board certified family practice physician who also specializes in skin care issues and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Mahajan received her Bachelor of Medicine from L.L.R.M. Medical College in Meerut, India, where she was awarded the Gold Medal in Medicine. She was practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in New Delhi India. After her marriage to Dr. Ranjan Mahajan she moved to the United States. Dr. Mahajan completed a three year family practice internship at SW Georgia Family Medicine in Albany, GA and Bayfront Family Practice Residency Program in St. Petersburg, Florida. While at Bayfront, Dr. Mira Mahajan’s special focus was in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Given her special passion for aesthetics, Dr. Mahajan opened the Mahajan Cosmetic Center & Golden Glow Medical Spa in 2009 and is the director of this exciting enterprise. Dr Mahajan has completed various courses on cosmetic procedures including Advanced Botox and Dermal Fillers, Advanced Aesthetic Techniques like Dermal fillers by blunt cannula, and Liposuction under tumescent Anesthesia. She has been performing cosmetic procedures since 2009. Dr. Mahajan has trained with many of the leading cosmetic physicians across the country including Dr. Marco Pelosi in New Jersey (Liposuction), and Dr. Pozner (Plastic Surgery). She also prides himself on offering the most up to date cosmetic procedures available. Dr. Mahajan is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She belongs to the American Medical Society as well. In spite of being a busy mother and physician, Dr. Mira finds time to enjoy special times with her husband and children!
