About Hee K. Yang, DDS
Dr. Hee Kyung ""Kris"" Yang is a general dentist who has proudly performed all aspects of general dentistry and orthodontics in Southeast Houston since 1983. She was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to the United States to attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After completion of her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, she went to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston's Dental Branch to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In 1983, she opened her dental office in Southeast Houston. She also attended several orthodontic programs, including Progressive Orthodontics and Invisalign, to provide her patients' comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Dr. Yang is known in the area and among patients as a gentle dentist, while also taking particular care to understand and discuss the patients concerns and needs. When she is not providing dental care to her patients, she attends numerous continuing education courses across the nation in her consistent effort to update her skills. In addition she is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Society. She enjoys taking care of her two loving dogs and two cats.
