About Ruby Kaur, MD, FAAD
Dr. Ruby Kaur is a board-certified dermatologist with Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Kaur is able to provide our San Francisco patients with a variety of treatments and services to create a healthy complexion year-round. She has a special interest in lasers and how they can heal, enhance, and correct skin irregularities, as well as neuromodulators, fillers, topical cosmoceuticals, hair restoration, and body contouring. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Kaur is the author of over 25 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters with a focus on medical dermatology and dermatopathology. Dr. Kaur is passionate about offering excellent patient care. She provides her patients with thorough skin examinations and works with each individual to form a relationship so that together, treatment plans can be carried out for optimal results. She treats all skin issues ranging from acne, eczema, and psoriasis to a number of other common skin conditions and services, such as complete mole checks and mole mapping to ensure each patient has a clean bill of health. With additional training and studying in cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Kaur provides a number of laser treatments to treat various skin irregularities related to sun damage and aging, as well as rejuvenation procedures to aesthetically enhance the look of her patients. She performs all of her own injectable treatments and works with patients so they keep their healthy glow year-round.
