About Morris Velilla, DDS
Morris Velilla, DDS, is a skilled and caring dentist who specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He provides dedicated care to the community of Oakland County at Shah & Velilla DDS, which is conveniently located in Novi, Michigan. Dr. Velilla earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and he completed his general practice residency at the Metropolitan Hospital Center and New York Medical College in New York City. He’s also an alumni of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Nash Institute for Dental learning in Huntersville, North Carolina, and the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Velilla has known that he wanted to be a dentist since he was 13 years old. His parents, who were both physicians, encouraged him to pursue his passion, leading him toward a lifetime of fulfilling work in making a genuine difference in peoples’ lives by giving them beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Velilla understands the importance of earning his patients’ trust at Shah & Velilla DDS. He encourages all of his clients to ask plenty of questions, and he dedicates focused time and energy during the consultation process to ensure that they understand their condition and feel good about their treatment plan before starting the work. Dr. Velilla is active in his field and enjoys membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Velilla likes to travel and play golf. He looks forward to meeting new patients and continuing work with his longtime clients at Shah & Velilla DDS.
