About Frances M. Vera, Aesthetician Specialist
Frances M Vera was born and raised in Chicago’s Humboldt Park community to first generation Puerto Rican immigrants. Since her early high school years Frances has been the ‘community beauty consultant. Frances' love of make-up artistry began during Chicago’s early hip-hop club scene where she was renowned for her unique sense of style and fabulous use of make-up. Frances' passion for fashion and love for make-up led her to the salon industry. In 2001, she began her licensed esthetician practice at one of Wicker Park’s most sought after salons. As Frances client base grew, it became apparent that she could most effectively meet the needs of her customers as an independent consultant. Frances is the owner and founder of the revolutionary company, Pritty Kitty Designs – a mobile spa bringing specialized spa services to clients’ homes, offices or any other desired location. Pritty Kitty Designs offers a full line of waxing services ranging from eyebrows to Brazilians as well as other spa services such as make-up consultations and facials. Frances is revered as one of Humboldt Park’s great success stories. As a mother of two children, Frances understands the variety of demands her clientele is faced with – this is why it is her mission to make each client’s experience convenient, relaxing and enjoyable. Her client base spans from Highland Park to Hyde Park, Bucktown to Boystown and everywhere in between. With patience, perseverance and plenty of loyal clients, Frances has successfully launched Chicago’s first mobile spa specializing in Brazilian waxing.
